I want to create ONE new KST from several PA5X KST files.
For example, take selected Styles from KST 1, selected Styles from KST 2 and selected Styles from KST 3, and combine them into one new KST.
I also want the Styles, Samples and Drum Kits to remain correctly linked.
When I try to copy a Style from SET B to an empty slot in a new SET A, I get:
“Destination STY file not found.”
What is the correct way to do this with PA5X KST
Hi AgronMusic! In the latest update I released for the program (version 1.3.1), I included read-only support for PA5X KST files; this means it can partially read the KST files, but nothing more can be done with them yet. I am constantly working on decoding the data so I can add support for combining PA5X KST Set A and Set B! I hope you understand. Best regards!

1. Is the current limitation only for PA5X KST files, or are KST files from older Korg models such as PA4X, PA1000, PA700, PA600, etc. also limited?
2. Which Korg models and file formats are currently fully supported for editing and combining?
3. Can PA SET Explorer currently work directly with a connected Korg keyboard, or is it only working with files on the computer?
4. Is the planned update specifically intended to support full PA5X KST Set A + Set B editing, including Styles, Samples and Drum Kits with all their correct references?
5. Do you have an approximate timeframe for when full PA5X KST support will be available?

1: KST is limited to read(play) only. All the older Korg models PA300 - PA4X is fully supported to write (modifi, edits...).
2: all korg pa300-4x models
3: only works with the files on the computer
4: Yes! I am working on the fully support of PA5X KST Set A + Set B (editing and all)
5: I dont know, it takes some time to add it, maybe 1 mounth!

Hi, sure! Now is working to import a PA300-PA4X set in SET A and in SET B import a PA5X KST and dargrop a pa5x style into SET A and the style will be converted! I am now with the samples and drumkits conversion from pa5x to pa300-pa4x! I have estimate to add it in about 2 mounths!
